About

Diane Nichols is a Somatic Educator + Cacao Steward. Certified as a Somatic Integration Practitioner with additional training in breathwork facilitation, vagal toning, and sound healing, Diane is called to help people move out of the thinking mind and back into the body.

Having traveled to Guatemala to connect directly with indigenous cacao collectives and honor the plant's sacred roots, she approaches cacao medicine with deep reverence and integrity. In her circles, Diane weaves together somatic self-regulation, presence, and heart-opening cacao medicine to help you anchor into your body, soften your heart, and reconnect with your authentic rhythm.

Diane spent over 25 years in high-pressure corporate, nonprofit work and entrepreneurship before her body forced her to stop, on a couch, unable to move. That was the beginning of learning to listen instead of push. Now she teaches what she had to learn the hard way, so it takes you less wreckage to get there.

My Vision

I envision a world where people don't wait for a crisis to reconnect with their own bodies and their own inner knowing. Where nervous system literacy is as common as knowing how to read, and self-trust isn't something we outsource to a guru, an algorithm, or anyone else. Cazimi Connection exists to be one doorway back to that kind of living: rooted, embodied, and free.

My Mission

My mission is to help people move out of their heads and back into their bodies, so they can build real self-trust and meet whatever life brings with more steadiness. Through nervous system education, embodied practices like cacao and breathwork, and honest mentorship, I help people develop the capacity to feel what's true for them without being run by it. This isn't about achieving constant calm. It's about learning to come back to yourself, again and again, until it becomes second nature.

A word on what this isn't

This isn't therapy, medical care, or mental health treatment, and it isn't a promise to keep you calm all the time. It's tools and education for self-regulation, offered by someone who has done her own work to get here and is still doing it. Cazimi Connection offers education, embodied experience, and mentorship for nervous-system literacy and self-regulation, not therapy, diagnosis, or treatment. Although I have lots of certifications around these practices, I am not a licensed clinician. My work helps you build awareness, capacity, and self-trust so you can navigate your own life; it is not a substitute for medical or mental health care, and I don't treat trauma, mental illness, or medical conditions. If you're currently working with a therapist or doctor, this work is meant to complement that relationship, not replace it. If what you bring to a session or circle is beyond my scope, I'll tell you directly and point you toward a licensed provider.
